Institute of Creative Arts for Progress in Africa (ICAPA) recently engaged women from Masvingo to discuss issues affecting women’s rights and their participation in politics and discuss possible solutions that can be drawn to address their plight.

In 2023 the International Images Film Festival for Women (IIFF) resumed its minifests in Bulawayo, courtesy of the USA Embassy in Harare’s programme ‘Economic Advancement for Zimbabwe Creatives’.

IIFF 2023 was by accounts from many sectors from seasoned filmmakers to the general film lover an outstanding success. Featuring an engaging film selection and a wide programme of film-centred events in it’s five-day programme, the event impacted both the industry and lay audiences.
