ICAPA Trust Selected for the Global 2026 Creativity Pioneers Fund Cohort
The Institute of Creative Arts for Progress in Africa (ICAPA) Trust has been named part of the 2026 Creativity Pioneers Fund Cohort, joining a worldwide network using storytelling, film, and creative practice to drive social change and empower African women filmmakers.
The Institute of Creative Arts for Progress in Africa (ICAPA) Trust is proud to announce its selection as part of the 2026 Creativity Pioneers Fund (CPF) Cohort. ICAPA joins 52 other creative and cultural organizations across 28 countries, becoming part of an expanding global movement of 201 Creativity Pioneers leveraging arts for social transformation. The Creativity Pioneers Fund launched in 2021 by the Moleskine Foundation, catalyzes transformational social change by investing in, connecting, and championing organizations that advance bold, unconventional practices to build a more just, inclusive, and equitable world.

Operating through a progressive model rooted in trust and unrestricted funding, the CPF selection provides ICAPA Trust with a €5,000 micro-grant that serves as an entry point into a comprehensive support platform. Through this selection, ICAPA Trust will access Financial & In-Kind Support; Mentoring & Capacity Building and Global Ecosystem & Networking.

This support will bolster ICAPA Trust’s mission to equip African women storytellers with the resources, mentorship, and capacity needed to produce international-standard content and shape the continent’s film economy.
